Pastor Robinson is a graduate of Lee College (B.S., 1986) and of Georgia State University (M.B.A., 1989). In 1988, he married his college sweetheart and partner for life, Carla Jane Miller, a pastor’s daughter from Maryland.

Thirty years of ministry have taken Pastor Jeff & Carla from associate ministerial staff positions to pastorates in Tennessee (1989-1992) and Maryland (1992-2002). From 2002-2006 they served as Evangelism & Home Missions Director for the DelMarVa-DC Church of God conference where they coached pastors and helped organize 23 churches. Immediately prior to moving to Indiana, the Robinson’s lived in Bismarck, ND where they served for five years as Administrative Bishop and Women’s Discipleship President respectively of the Church of God in the Dakotas and Montana.

Pastor Robinson was a member of the General Assembly Board of Parliamentarians for 14 years, and a member of the National Evangelism & Home Missions Board for the denomination. After a short term of service on the Publications Board, he was appointed to the Lee University Board of Directors in 2012, where he presently serves and is a post to which he is particularly drawn, especially since his three children, Stone, Abigail and Lily are all current Lee students.

Pastor Robinson is a third generation gospel preacher who thrives on communicating a relevant message of God’s Word to this generation and seeing the transforming presence of God cultivated in people’s lives.

Carla Robinson
Carla RobinsonWomen’s Ministries Pastor

From growing up in a pastor’s home until now, Carla Robinson’s life has been centered in ministry. As a child, Carla’s perspectives were shaped through being exposed to a wide variety of cultural, economic, and geographical areas of the United States from Southern towns to northeast urban communities and from rural schools to inner city all-girl institutions. These life experiences have helped prepare her to connect with women from differing backgrounds.

Co-ministering with her husband, Jeff, for 30 years as both Lead Pastors & Administrative Leaders; raising three children while staying closely connected with extended family; acting as homemaker, and working outside the home on a constant list of projects; Carla has a first-hand understanding of the pressures and multi-tasking demands faced by 21st century women.

Carla’s ministry has enabled her to teach men and women alike in churches, conferences, retreats, and special events throughout the country. Presently Carla serves as Pastor of jOURneys Women’s Ministries for Plant City Church of God in Plant City, Florida. Of all of Carla’s roles, her most cherished is that of wife and mother to Stone, Abby, and Lily.

By using her unique blend of real life humor, transparency, and understanding of the Word of God, Carla desires to challenge women to live holy lifestyles and grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
